Bypass all inserts?
I feel really dumb asking this - cuz I figure I should know how to do this by now - but is there a way to bypass multiple plug-ins at once on a track? For instance, if I have an EQ, compressor, and smack on a track, and I want to listen to the raw track sans plugs, I now have to click each one and bypass it. Its a small thing, but if I want to A/B, it can be less than efficient. Any thoughts?
DIGI: If there is no way to do this, I hereby request this be considered for the next version. cheers, Nathan

Re: Bypass all inserts?
Forgotten exactly off the top of my head...
...the secret lies in clicking the plug-in on the insert while holding down the Apple key, or Control key, or Alt key, or Shift key, and combinations of them. There are two modes that may be switched: Bypass - like hitting bypass with the plug-in window open Disable - same as bypass, plus it fully takes the load off the processing CPU. Great to save some power if you need it, without losing your plug in settings or routing. Sorry to not be exact on the keys, but it is possible to do what you want.

Re: Bypass all inserts?
Sorry, just to add, one of the keys will cause *all* inserts across the row of the insert you clicking on to be bypassed/disabled.

Re: Bypass all inserts?
Cmnd-click on PI: Bypass.
Ctrl-cmnd-click: Disable. If you add option key to any of these combinations, all tracks´ PIs on that insert will be affected. If you add shift to that again, only selected tracks will be affected. As for bypassing all PIs on a track simultaneously, there is no real easy way. Maybe the easiest way is to duplicate the track, remove PIs and solo/mute/unmute between the two. IHTH.

Re: Bypass all inserts?
Found this looking for something else.
You can Bypass All Inserts on all selected tracks with Shift+A. Now what I'm looking for is how to Bypass from the any insert down, for example, how to Bypass simultaneously the 3rd, 4th. etc leaving the plugins on the first and 2nd inserts active.
