Default Velocity Issues???

Hi all,

I know it is something simple but I just cannot find the solution ANYWHERE.

In MIDI edit window with velocity view, when I raise or lower the velocity "stalks" the audible velocity remains the same.

How can I change it so that when I raise/lower them the velocity I hear changes accordingly?

Matt

Default Re: Velocity Issues???

What vi are you using?
Not all vi's use velocity to change signal levels. Some use it as a way to change sample layers played and some don't use velocity at all - organs for example. That and some vi's have a way to change velocity response and for that you need to read the docs that come with the vi in use.
