Default no channels activated

I've searched the DUC and the tech notes, I can't find an answer and would appreciate some more help.

I have a digi002, PT 6.1.1 (upgraded from 5.3.2) Windows XP Pro, patched up to date. I am trying to use my GR33 as a midi input into the Pro-52 plug in. I follow the instructions, Aux track, midi track, but when I set the output I find that there are "No channels Activate" for the Pro-52 plug in. I can record midi data, but I can't get any sound. So I try the SampleTank plug in, again, the same message... "no channels activated"

Anyone have any insight. I'm thinking it has to do with the upgrade instead of the full install and some file isn't being read.
Thanks,
Jim

Default Re: no channels activated

Ignore the 'no channels activated' (in the MIDI output assignment). My systems say that, and Pro-52, SampleTank, Reason, etc. work fine. I'm on 6.1.1, but this was true with 5.3.2 and 6.1. I upgraded the 5.3.2->6.1->6.1.1 on these systems.

Make sure you're aux track volume is up, MIDI track output is assigned to the Pro-52, MIDI track is armed (record-enabled), and MIDI-thru is checked.

if that doesn't work, check the INPUT on your aux track and set it to analog 1-2. if that doesn't work, try putting the plug on an audio track instead of a aux track...
