Default will an Axiom 49 be enough to run pro tools mpowered 7.1?

I was wondering, i have an axiom 49 keyboard, and i was wondering if that was enough to run pro tools m-powered.

i know m-powered works with m audio hardware, like how digi hardware works with LE.

anyways if ijust have an axiom 49, is that enough to pick up and run pro tools mpowered? or do i need to actually have an interface?

i only intend on using mpowered for mixing. not recording...

Nope, that is just a midi controller. You'll have to step up to an actual interface of some kind to have an M-Powered qualified piece of hardware. You could get the $80 transit if most of your songwriting/recording will be done with the midi controller and you don't need any mic inputs.
