corrupted session... please help

I have a corrupted midi session
when I import data to a new one (or when I try to open it) I get this

'Time type mismatch occurred in "Time_Typed.cpp"
line 314"

any clues?

Hi,

So you are trying to import session data into a new session? and is this one track only that gets this error message or is the whole session corrupted?

What about any back-ups, do they open or is it just one session only.

If you want to upload the session file .pdf using www.sendspace.com and paste the download link here. either myself or someone else can check it for you.

What about trashing the prefs! have you tried this! use this app to save and revert back to if needed all your prefs...

I have tried all the trashing... didn't work
there is 1 track corrupted, only midi and it's called "Inst 3"
the other midi tracks seem fine

Definitely corrupt... I get a

Could not complete your request because assertation in Volumes/PT4_App/MacBuild/../../NewFileLibs/Time/Time_TypeBase.h", Line 100 while translating tracks

Getting the same error when I try to import Inst 2.03 or any of the inst 2dup tracks.

So...

Sadly... it's "In the session file" not on your system.

your best bet, as already pointed out by Criz - is to go through your "Session File Backups" folder - and see if you have a version of the session saved, "before the corruption occurred"

all my bup sessions (10 of them) have the same problem, weird...
I never got to bup to another drive, I just closed and reopened the session and it was all screwed up, digital life...
