Strange System.log Event "Non-smartcard device launched pcscd" Repeating...
Hey there....
Has anyone noticed this in their System.log: Non-smartcard device launched pcscd We are getting this message repeating every 10 seconds on some of the 40 systems we manage whenever Pro Tools is launched. I have confirmed its related to an iLok, because when I remove the iLok the log event goes away. The systems in question have the updated drivers installed directly from iLok.com. I have contacted iLok.com's less than stellar customer service who immediately pointed the finger at Avid... This fault is happening on HDX and HD|Native systems running PT 10.3.2. Still hunting to see if I can find it on a TDM system. Just curious if anyone else has noticed this...and what can be done to resolve it. Thanks, Dev |
