Default How do I commit a multi out VI to a mono track?

Is there anyway to 'commit' a multi out VI such as Kontact, EZ Drummer etc, and have it commit to just a mono track versus always a stereo track?

I'd create a mono send on the track(s) routed to a mono aux, and then just commit the aux track.

Gave that a try and I still get a stereo track from the mono aux?

Did you uncheck pan?

It was unchecked, but I believe you don't get a choice on 'pan'? You aren't able to check it or uncheck it, but I will look at that at the studio today. I do know there wasn't a check mark in the pan box when I did this.

I do it with EZ Drummer all of the time. EZD will create stereo outs, but as stated above, create as many mono sends as you need, and when you route, just select one side of the pair (L or R) to send to your mono send.

That works for me...

Got this to work Stig. I always commit as 'edit selection' but realized I need to commit as selected track.

Thanks.
