iLok not working
one day I using protool and I ilock stop being recognized so I bought a new one and I end up with the same problem... I restarted and reinstalled still not working

And to add to what Chris said...
Just buying a new iLok won't help you. The encrypted license key is on the old iLok. An empty iLok by itself won't do anything, except maybe verify you can read it with ILM (iLok License manager). You can install a replacement license on your new iLok once Pace has the old dead iLok you send them and they deposit a licenses back into your iLok.com account. If the iLok with your license key on is is broken/not working you need to go through the recovery process documented on iLok.com. And if you have not subscribed to Zero Downtime now is the time to read up on that on iLok.com. Try the latest iLok.com, reinstall it even if you have the latest, and try multiple USB ports. |

Your iLok account shows that your Pro Tools Perpetual license is in your iLok Cloud. You should sign into iLok License Manager and Close Your Cloud Session then activate the license to your iLok. Also, make sure you are running a version released on/before the Release Limit date (Show Details for the license and find supported versions here).

But all this is a waste of time, as Jeffro points above... if you moved your licenses to the cloud, it won't be on you iLok, it will have been removed from the iLok and is now "in the cloud". Kinda a basic point. But if you did not do that, can't do what he suggests, please reply to his post.
