Billing Information In Glasgow problem

Hi Guys

I'm currently trying to purchase the Pro Tools MP 9 to 11 upgrade. The issue is that I live in Cumbernauld in Scotland and in the billing information there isn't an option for North Lanarkshire in the State/Province section.

Anyone got any ideas?

Hi

I will send this to Avid and see what you can do.

In the meantime as you are buying a digital download you can try and use any address that is in Scotland since you don't need to recieve anything.

Or if you really care about following the "rules" you can download the trial version for now and you will have a fully working PT11 for 30 days until this is sorted

Either way lots of people me included have used different billing adresses and for shipping aswell as long as its digital downloads and we aren't recieving anything in the post.

Thanks for the information.

My main concern was that it may cause issues with my debit card as it says it requires the address to be identical to the one the card is registered to.

Nervous about having my card frozen out.

Ok thats another story but when we purchase out of town and get stuck on that we just shove in a different address and never had any issues.

I doubt the card will be frozen, at most you get a error message as you aren't doing anything illegal, just putting in a different purchase address but I am sending this off to Avid Admins and they will probably come up with an idea how to fix it.

Hang in there until they have a chance to look at this and until then use the trial version. It is a full version and when you bought the PT upgrade you don't need to reinstall anything, just deactivate the demo license off your ilok2 and activate the new license. No install needed for this option after purchase

You should contact Avid Store support linked from the bottom left of the pages on the Avid store. Where it says:

I took the chance and bought the upgrade and it worked.

I think Avid needs to update their website. The fact that even Glasgow isn't included in their list is a bit poor.

Thats Great to hear

It worked for us and many ithers using different addresses so glad to see you tried and that it worked.

I will send this up the chain and hopefully the webdesigners will add more Cities and streets in the future.
