Default Session created in PT HD 8.1 will not open in PT M-Powered 8.0.4

I need to open a session that I was working on with PT 8.1 HD cs2. I am currently running PT M Powered 8.0.4. When I go to open it, it says " This session file was created by a newer version of Pro Tools <8.1cs2> and may contain data which will be ignored by the installed version of Pro Tools. Please refer to www.digidesign.com/session-versions for detailed information. I go there and it doesn't say anything about these 2 not being compatible. The session tries to launch and closes Pro Tools.

I also tried to start as session on my M-Powered rig and simply import session data, but that also crashes Pro Tools.

Anyone heard of this, know how to fix?
