Default First Time Buyer of Control 24

I may have an oppurtunity to get a Control 24 for a great price at *********. Originally I planned on purchasing one from ************. Here's my dilemna.

If I purchase it from ***********, I probably wont get the same customer service from them than I would from ***********. I have worked on the Control 24 only 4 or 5 times, so I'm not real familiar with the particulars of its functionality.

If I do purchase one from *********. What should I be watching out for? Good and bad

Firmware version??

Power supply??

Model number ??

I love the Control 24. If you do go to purchase one, get the serial# off the back of it and then call Digi Customer Supprt. Ask them the history of it, is it a Refurb or is it new, does it have the latest Power Supply, firmware etc. They are very helpfull!! As for dealer Support, after 30 days it's up to Digi to give you support, not the dealer. I found this out the hard way. Unless the dealer will promise you _ _ _ _ _ _ ( fill in the blank depending on your needs)then it's up to you and your comfort factor/ money.
Good Luck,

Yes, do check up on it's history. Some of the power supplies weren't too reliable, that would probably be the first thing you would have to deal with.
