Default Stand Alone Editor - Adds value to the 11R

The new Stand Alone Editor is definitively adding value to the Eleven Rack. I have two (one at home, one at my studio), and may add a third one.

The few last days I have been playing/making more presets, and have had more fun with my 11R than in a long time (I used to use mostly what I'd stored on the unit).
Now it's easier (and lighter pc wise than to load PT) for us that use other DAW's. I mostly use Nuendo/Cubase.

I can finally answer YES, when guitarists in my studio ask about an editor .

Thank you Avid (even though it took way to long)

Any others that have had an uprising with their Eleven Racks?

Oh I completely agree.

I don't have the 11r yet, but it is the next piece of equipment I plan on getting.
The stand alone editor has sealed the deal for me, as I want to purchase it without PT, and use it with my DAW of choice, FL Studio.

I am a guitarist that is working on a home studio, I am on an older Vista 64 setup, so I realize this "may" not all work properly with my current rig, but thats just a temporary issue.

I do have a quick question though, after reading through some of the other threads, do I need an Ilok device for the stand alone editor if I only intend to use the 11r as my interface, for a non-PT DAW?

No.

The software needed should be installed automatically. If it is not, you can do it manually, and free, from www.ilok.com
