I'm talking about the arms that are available with the S6. I know there are arms that will take all kinds of weight and that not all have the same weight allowances.

The arms that we will ship with the S6 are for 24" monitors. That size is what will fit in the producer's desk. A 27" will hang over the chassis sides and will not fit into the monitor slot. You can always get the bigger arm if you want to use a monitor wider than 24"

Don't you think this would interfere with monitoring?

Although fun to look at, that would not work for me. Although, it would be an impressive show to the novice.

That is a great looking room… Thanks for sharing. I'm curious if you are left handed - having your Master Section on the left side.

Help me understand how Avid would put so much into developing this unit and not fully understand the needs of the user. It reaks of I know what they want! I love the idea, but so many basic needs seem to be overlooked, most so obvious that it borders on incompetents. I am such a huge fan, but get so disappointed when I see what seems to be an out of touch mentality on the behalf of truly well meaning people who truly want to blow people away.

I agree with Barry. They took all the editing features out. Sure command focus mode on the keyboard is nice but something like an MCPro is absolutely awesome for postproduction. Edit and mix at the same time with user configurable hot keys. Not a touch screen you have to look at to operate. S6, close but no cigar.
