Can we put the list of bugs here please?

I've had multiple beachball hangs when holding down option and trying to resize track heights in the edit window. Anyone else experiencing this?

*EDIT* I seem to have narrowed this down to the D16 Punchbox VI plugin. It is fine once I commit the track with that plugin.

Hi,

When recording audio the recorded audio is late in the timeline by the same amount of the set buffer size.

So if the buffer size is 128, the recorded audio is 128 samples late, and if the buffer size is 512 recorded audio is 512 samples late.

Happens in non-HD PT.

I reverted to PT 12.5.1 and then the recorded audio is dead on the beat.
Regardless of set buffer size.

To test, record a click from click track to a audio track with a mic in front of monitor and then look at the waveform.

I´ve created a case about this and waiting reply.
Update:
This is being looked at now.

Update 2:
This has now been reproduced by Avid support and recognised as a bug related to when the "ignore errors during playback/record" checkbox is checked.
If it is not checked all is fine.
When it is checked all recorded audio is late.
For me I also need to set the buffer size to 256 or higher, otherwise the problem won't go away after checking and unchecking the "ignore errors..."

So let´s now hope for a fix.

GUI bug. Whilst scrolling up down left and right during playback, all sub counters and transport counters FREEZE!! Been happening since PT12. iMac 5k. PT HD Native.

When trying to use the Clip Effects, I can't use the top two frequencies of the EQ until I edit the clip.

Yellow fade adjustment line looks and is positioned differently than the actual fade that is applied to the clip.

Often when spotting with Soundminer, the file is copied in the bin but not spotted on the track.

IN PTHD 12.6, Windows 10, when clicking in the comment box nothing happens until you make you changes and hit enter, then the changes appear. Box does not turn white and cannot see what you are doing when editing.
