\"Show Info\" button

Hi. I've had my Control 24 about a week now and was wondering if the "Show Info" button to the left of the scribble strips is actually a functioning button. I push it and nothing seems to happen unless maybe I'm supposed to be in a certain mode for it to work. Digi Tech. Supt. said, not very convincingly, that it must not be a functioning button. I know that some of the other buttons when pressed will indicate in the scribble strips that "This feature not implemented yet". I don't get that response with the "Show Info" button. Just wanted to check with you all on here to see if it's supposed to work and how.
