Beat Detective
Wassup,
Someone said Beat Detective could be used like Vocalign on vocals.. Is that true??

Beat Detective chops up the audio, moves it around and then you can tell it to fill in the blanks. Not how I want to edit vocals(I suspect if you watch some videos on how its done, you may feel the same). I prefer to do it manually with Elastic Audio(duplicate the playlist first). But that's just me.

elastic audio can be used to do the same thing as vocalign, not beat detective. But Vocalign is so much quicker and easier and the process is all automated for you. With Elastic Audio you'd have to move the warp markers manually to try and line up the take you are editing with the one you are trying to match.
