Default -1103 error after updating to 2020.3

Hi guys,

I've been trying to update to 2020.3, but with no succes so far.
After doing a search I tried reinstalling the HD driver, but that did not work.
I reverted back to 2019.12 and everything was just fine.

Today I tried again with the same result. After installing 2020.3 upon startup 'initializing hardware' I got an AAE-1103 error.
Running DigiTest results in an DSI-1103 error.

This time I went for reseating the HDX card, but no go...
I left the HDX card in its new position and revedrted back to 2019.12 and...
everything runs just fine
Any suggestions?

Mark

Did you uninstall the older version before installing 2020.3? Previous versions seemed okay with running the installer OVER the old version, but since 2020 hit, it looks like we need to uninstall the older version(and ALWAYS uninstall the HD driver if its an option).

And also make sure your digilink license is ON the ilok key. We noticed it had gone back to the ilok account once with an update. Just making sure we have troed all the usual things.
