MiniGrand, instrument plugins, etc

Hi, I'm wondering if there is anyway to use these instrument plugins without using the pencil tool or a 3rd party midi device.

Is there anyway to use your alpha or numeric keyboard? Kind of like in GarbageBand, how it has musical typing.

Hmm yeah, that seems like what I'd need. Do you think I could bus effects to that too? Or maybe just run it THROUGH minigrand?
