Default 12.4 freeze warning.

I was making some videos and playing with freeze and stumbled upon this. SSD4 (Windows) will not reload its library when unfreezing. Go into it a bit on this vid. Just an FYI vid

Yes that's the only VI doing this...
Slate's team know this issue for about 2 years now and still no update....

Yeah I can totally see that happening on some VIs. The lesson I guess is to save your presets but Slate Drums 5 out soon? It could happen

Still, I have to say track freeze could turn out to be huge for many of us. In my case, I always want to track with the lowest buffer/latency settings possible on my HD Native rig (e.g. 32 or 64) because even tiny amounts of latency when tracking through plugins bug me. Imagine having tons of VIs going and freeing up all that CPU power with track freeze. That's huge and I'm really excited to try it out! Nice going Avid!

Time will tell if Track Freeze is the truly the power feature we've all been waiting for.

Surprising, in the past, they've usually dropped everything and quickly provided bug fixes...

SSD 3.5 within Kontakt reloaded upon unfreezing the track when I was playing with the freeze feature last night.
Being behind on versions has it's benefits sometimes.

i called Slate and they never returned my call .. it was about this .. de-activate a track with SSD4 on it and it comes back empty ...

i have stopped using Slate until this gets resolved .. they are taking forever .. come on Slate get on it .. 2 years bro ..
