Default stop Application Manager

when i am not connected to the internet the Application Manager makes my Power Book go into fan mode.
can i stop it from trying to load?

I don't think it has an option to not load on start-up. But you can still quit it from it's system tray icon.

If on a Mac, go into /Library/LaunchAgents/ and delete the avid application manager related files. You'll have to start it manually here after. If on Windows or if you need more info regarding the above, follow the directions found here on the Duc or over at Pro Tools Expert. Just use search .. :)
