Ditch my Sony DVMC2?
Hi,
1) I'm trying not to have to convert QT movies to .DV so it will show up on my TV monitor. Since I recently got a new G5 I'm wondering if I can just drag the movie window over to the TV monitor to get the movie to play big on the screen. 2) Right now I still convert to .dv using QT Pro, then go out from my firewire port to the Sony converter (DVMC2), then to my TV. Do I still have to do this? Isn't there a vid card that came with my G5 that will enable me to get my movie window to the TV by going out from the G5's vid card port to the TV? 3) Now then, what would happen to being able to record audio and video from Television into my Mac (that I can now do WITH the Sony box)? How can I keep that feature?
