Default Dashed horizontal lines at bottom of midi track

Hi,

I'm getting unexplained dashed horizontal lines at the bottom of a midi track when viewed in notes (however, in clips the notes are displayed). The rest of the track is hidden, just the dashed lines at the bottom are showing. I'm not sure exactly how this happened. Maybe while copying and pasting? I noticed it too late too revert/undo. The notes are displayed in the midi editor below, but not on the track itself.

I'm in PT First, on a 2017 27 inch Mac running High Sierra, 40 GB ram, 4.2 GHz Intel Core i7, graphics: Radeon Pro 580 8 GB.

Does anyone know how to get rid of the dashed lines and reveal the notes on the track as they should normally be displayed?

Thanks,
Robert

Got it figured out. The dashed lines were actually partially displayed midi notes which were sitting just perfectly at the bottom of the view of the track because of the octave area I had displayed. All I had to do was move the octave area to a lower position on the "keyboard display that sits to the left of the track. The notes were 8- 16th notes in a bar spaced in regular intervals across several bars as it happened.

Good detective work I often wish I could just click somewhere and have ANY midi note in use get scrolled into view
