The InMusic "Laugher" Email...Except It Ain't
Just hit my mail box...note the distancing of themselves from AIR...not a damn word on bad server images, broken links, products missing from DVDs or even a HINT of suspending sales until they fix this disaster. Instead they dump it ALL off on DR and meanwhile continue to take customers cash.
Tomorrow will be ONE WEEK since this fiasco started...even Ilok did better and they went thru a total system conversion. What a "LOW RENT" company. "Greetings, As you’ve probably heard, the new AIR Instrument Expansion Pack is now available for purchase, and we’ve seen an overwhelming demand for these new instruments. Unfortunately, due to that demand, our hosting partner, Digital River, has been challenged to provide the level of service that we, and you, would expect. As a result, some customers have experienced difficulties downloading the instruments successfully, and some customers are having issues redeeming upgrade codes for the AIR Instrument Expansion Pack. If you’ve had either of these problems, we sincerely apologize for the confusion and, frankly, for the frustrating experience you’ve had. We’re committed to fixing this as quickly as possible, and your satisfaction is our priority. We’re working diligently to make all of this right and to provide you with what we initially promised—world class virtual instruments at an affordable price. To get you the answers you need as quickly as possible, we’ve set up an FAQ page. There you’ll find the best information on how to solve any issues you may have encountered with purchasing the AIR Instrument Expansion Pack. Thank you for your business. We appreciate your patience and hope to empower you with these innovative instruments as soon as we can. For help visit our FAQ page here: http://bit.ly/AIEP-FAQ Cheers, The AIR Team"

Re: The InMusic "Laugher" Email...Except It Ain't
I know I love it AIR blamed the whole thing on Digital River. Nothing about the Mac or Windows broken formatted links.

Re: The InMusic "Laugher" Email...Except It Ain't
Yeah, I just got the same email. I notice they completely ignore any mention of the questions we've been asking about the back up disks...
I'm going to wait to see what happens until Monday then I'm raising a dispute with PayPal I think. Enough's enough.

Re: The InMusic "Laugher" Email...Except It Ain't
Disagree...THIS is NOT the AIR we all know, respect or count on. These are the actions of the new parent company of incompetents, InMusic.

Re: The InMusic "Laugher" Email...Except It Ain't
My credit card statement reads "DRI*AIR MUSIC TECH" it doesn't say InMusic. I blame the people that took my money.

Overall, wouldn't have anything to do with the recent AIR departures? Now badly prepared .dmgparts etc ... I certainly don't want "AIR today/gone tomorrow" so I welcome these positives:

Re: The InMusic "Laugher" Email...Except It Ain't
FWIW, I was able to purchase the upgrade through my agent at Sweetwater. However, all that gets me is the authorization code I need to download everything from DR. So, until DR can get their water flowing, I'm going sit tight!
