Default Re: Elixir V3 problem loading in PT 10.3.6

Well I still haven't gotten it to load correctly even after updating to PT 10.3.7. Same exact error message when I create an instance in a track. Absolutely no contact from FLUX a full 2 weeks after my initial support ticket was created. This is abominal support and if I can't get it fixed soon, I will be forced to ask for my money back. It's a shame though, I've heard great things about it and I really want it to work. Otherwise I would have given up long ago.

Everything was fine for a while but I experienced the problem again today. The funny thing is It happened just 50 minutes after ordering 3 extra copies of Elixir for our other studios.

I think it's time to open another ticket with Flux...

How does one get Flux to respond? If you had this problem before, how did you fix it?

I'm on Windows. They finally assigned someone to my support ticket but they have not responded yet.

Restarting Pro Tools solve the problem every time but is kind of a pita.

The update doesn't change anything. Even worst , restarting PT does not fix the problem anymore.

I also noticed that there is no mention of Pro tools fixes anywhere in the release notes. Please Flux you have a great Plugin but this is getting ridiculous...

You all have every right to be upset. I would be livid. 2 weeks and you've only now received a tech's assignment, not an actual response of any kind... yes, I'd be quite unhappy.

We have been in contact with Flux and the problem seems to be solve. The solution was quite simple. We had to erase the Elixir plugins from the AAX folder and re install Elixir again to make it work.

The installer is supposed to delete previous versions before install the new ones, but it didn't do it on our 2 tested workstations.

I wish I had known this sooner but at least everything seems to be working now.

It seems that the problem is not solved yet. We have no problem with Elixir on newly created PT session but Elixir isn't authorized anymore on older sessions. This is a pita but Flux is working to release a fix for this authorization issue. I just hope it's going to be soon.
