Default Where are all the delays?!

Hey friends

I thought I would just ask instead of hovering around on the forum waitng for someone else to ask :

So in PT10HD we have atleast 3-4 or even 5 delays more than in 11. I am asking about the Small-Medium-Large delays and I think a Tape delay and a Mod delay..

Sorry if this is a "Tool" post but I am not finding them in PT11HD and I miss seeing there ain't that many delays at all in the marker. If you guys have any great delay plugins please share as we are out

NOT counting the outboard gear the plugin delays I know of We have today

SoundToys Native 4 bundle (Awesome Stuff )
Lexicon PSP 42 (Not that impressed for the price)
UA Cooper Cube (Super Clean and Cool but no Modulation or anything else fun stuff)
Nomad Factory Echoes (Quite Nice)

And Waves Platinum Bundle and the delays included there and these two extra plugins
CLA Vocal
CLA Effects

And maybe a few more BUT we are lookng for the KILLER delay plugins.

Thanks as usual guys
Christopher

You should still have the AIR delays, and the new PT11 delay plugin does everything that any of the old plugins did. I don't recall any version of PT having a stock tape delay. I grabbed Waves H Delay on sale and its a nice alternative to the stock plugin as it has extra controls for filtering and distortion. Great plugin

Thanks Albee for the info. We have tried to use the H-Delay as it comes with the Waves bundle BUT we get alot of latency/sync/off beat when we start it yp and then it just keeps beeing weird so that is a no go for us atleast

You are saying that the delay in PT11 is all the small-large delays built into one delay plugin? And it is called AIR and it has a balck and green ugly GUI right? If that is the one you mean we have tried that but also not impressed.

I am really thankful you are jumping in here even if it might not look like it but I wanna find the SUPER nice delay plugins with fun delays and stuff like Echoboy and Crystalizer but maybe a bit more "pop dance/house" feeling delays. The Soundtoys are GRRRREAT but the feel very "Heavy" and hard to sneak into a production with slick vocals and beats.

Best Regards
Christopher

Big fan of Digirack Mod Delay III here. Nothing crazy but all the good normal things with true stereo or linked processing as well as adjustable HPF on the delays -- very nice.

The Air Delay is a cool second one - more effected than the DigiRack

Third choice is actually the Reel Tape Sat and Delay.

Between these three I am having some fun. I do miss the Waves ones but for a host of reasons (none of them $$ BTW) I am going wave-less for a while...

What's wrong with the older Waves SuperTap delay? I have always liked it a lot. Also, Massey TD5 really became my goto delay since day one so that's why I'm visiting Massey's page every day now -- can't wait :)

Same here. From what I read they are in beta, but don't know if they will come this year or next.
Got so many sessions with massey plugins (wich in pt11 are greyed out/inactive) so i'm really hoping for this year.

Another goto delay I'm waiting for is Valhalla Ubermod. Huge sounding delay.
It's supposed to be AAX64 available late december.

I think it sounds good when dialled just perfect, but I think my mindset is more into Massey's simple goodness.
