Trouble bouncing tracks! WAV files won\'t play
When I bounce my.WAV files down 24 bit (44khz) they don't play... unless I then convert them tp MP3's? When they convert tp MP3's they'll only convert to 128 KBPS files. Makes no sense and I can't get a good quality Master!
My laptop is a Thinkpad T41, 1.6 ghz P4 with 1.2 GB of ram. running Windows XP SP2! |

Re: .WAV files won\'t play
What program are you trying to play them with? Windows Media Player cannot play 24bit files.
How are you intending to use the bounced files? Sending to a professional mastering house? Mastering the files yourself? Burning CDs? (FYI; Burning to CD would require 16bit/44.1kHz files.)

Re: .WAV files won\'t play
Thanks I think that answers my question! I've got to knock it down to 16 bit!
