Upgraded to 3.5, Now NOTHING WORKS!

I just upgraded to Eucon 3.5 and installed Studio Monitor Express to get my MC Control to see my audio card. Result? NOTHING WORKS!

I tried un-installing SME. No change. I went back to Eucon 3.4. No change. I can't even do a system restore on it! WTH? Why is Eucon such a ridiculous PITA? This crap happens EVERY SINGLE UPGRADE, its ridiculous!

I never got to that point! I upgraded to 3.5. I installed SME 3.5. I hit re-start. When the PC came back up, I had "Avid Bricks!" For some reason, this site doesn't allow screen shots directly from one's computer. But you can see those shots from the Nuendo Forum, where I am also reaching out for help. https://www.steinberg.net/forums/vie...f=240&t=114770

As you can see from the 1st screen shot, instead of launching it asked me to pick an ethernet source. There is only the ONE option given in the box. You can select it or ignore it. Makes no difference. The next thing you get is the Eucon Crash message (2nd screenshot). I also have screenshots showing that the ethernet source is up to date with the latest drivers and functioning properly. So, I'm now effectively locked out because all roads lead to a Eucon crash! I never got to do anything in that video. Nor can I check anything else until I find some way in. That's why I un-installed SME. I was trying to fix one problem at a time.

Any other suggestions?

I will escalate this to Avid Eucon Support Eddie as he will know if anyone what to do here.

Sorry I can't help more but our interns did all the troubleshoot sessions and it wasn't pretty.
