Default Upgrade path from 6.0.1 to x

I am on an old version of PT and I want to get as current as possible without having to spend a lot in upgrades on plug-ins. I am interested to find out what my options are and if I can expect much better performance moving to a more current version. I am running a G4 iMac on Panther. I have never upgraded PT before so I am not sure I have to re-authorize all of the plug-ins or what. Appreciate some good information...

Pro Tools LE 6.4 is a free update from 6.0:

Anything higher would be a paid upgrade. Update and Upgrade information can be found on this page, linked from the Compatibility link at the top of the DUC:

Thanks! How do I get 7.0 without going to the Intel-Mac version where I need to upgrade all of my plug-ins? I would prefer to spend the money now to get to 7 and then get the free upgrades, rather than pay for two full upgrades to 6.9 and then to 7.3.

Pro Tools 7.3 is a universal binary that runs on both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs.
