Instalation Error Code
Using PT 8 LE on Win7 32bit, got a virus and when I tried accessing PT from my desktop,blue crash screen pops up. Uninstalled PT. Now when I try to re-install the following code pops up; " E:\PROTOO~8\setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application". Any help is appreciated

What did you do to get rid of the virus? Usually, the best solution is to reformat the drive and load in a fresh load of all software, or restore from a drive image(if you are not hip to drive imaging yet, put it at the top of your "to do" list)

Thanks for responding. Did an RKill and ran Malwarebytes, ccleaner, and microsoft defender and killed the virus. Didn't uninstall and re-install Win7. probably should do that. Funny thing is that all the PT was stored on an external disc, and none of the other files got corrupted. I will explore imaging.
