PT5 CONTINOUS TEMPO CHANGE
Hi,
is it possible to create continous tempo changes, musically spoken ritardando, over, let´s say 9 bars, starting f.e. at 120 BPM down to 65 BPM? I could do this very well in my old Atari Notator Sequencer but not yet in PT 5. Any chance to create this tempo change with the tempo slider ? I mean not a step by step tempo change but a continous one. Thanks Peter |

Re: PT5 CONTINOUS TEMPO CHANGE
HI Pete....
The easiest way to do tempo changes in protools is just to import a midi track from Logic or Cubase if you are using any of these programs.Put say a hi-hat click in on one track for your entire song and then import that track into Protools (import midi track in protools) This will then have all the tempo changes contained in the midi track....hope this answers your question Good Luck Pete |

Re: PT5 CONTINOUS TEMPO CHANGE
There's a thread started by Jules which begins "Need to have tempo changes..." which I responded to, dealing with the same issue.
Suffice it to say that the inability to do basic tempo sloping in their new midi section is a huge oversight. Which I hope will be corrected soon. -Craig |
