Default PT LE 8 crashes on launch, nothing works

Hi guys,

I have installed PT LE 8.01 on os x 10.6.7, a clean install, on a new hard drive. PT refuses to launch, no matter what. It crashes on load, or it gets to the new project screen, and crashes. I just can't get PT to launch at all. I have cleared all PT prefs, reinstalled, installed the PACE software, setup a new user profile in OSX, all to no avail. The mbox II is connected and working just fine for general core audio output. I also can't run the PT 8 updater, as it crashes at the end of every install, just dead.

I am unsure what else to do. Is there an issue with the PT 8 installer and 10.6.7?

I have a crash log, which is extensive, but this is the header of it, with the bulk of the info (below). I have also removed all plugins from the plugins folder, but this has not fixed the issue.

Thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.

Firstly, 10.6.7 hasn't been qualified as far as I know. Secondly, assuming it becomes qualified, it will require PT 8.0.3 or higher as the OS is Snow Leopard, per the compatibility grid.

Good point. I would imagine that that is the issue.
