Default Can an iLok move to another account name?

Title says it all. Searched the iLok site and cannot find any reference for moving an iLok(with assets in place) to a new account name(same owner). I have a vague memory of being able to deactivate or UN-register an iLok, but now I find nothing on that. Suggestions?

Dave wazzup !!

Hey man yeah that whole new ilok de-activate thing ended a few years ago

It used to work like “pay $100 and you could move as many assets that you wanted” to any account

If you are just needing the ilok (no assets), you can move all the licenses off the ilok to the ilok account it is attached to and then deregister the ilok and use it with any other account.

If you want the ilok assets moved from one account to another, you have to pay ilok (for those licenses allowed to be moved.)

I believe you can merge ilok accounts still but you have to have ilok intervene and they'll want proof that both accounts are yours. There may be a fee associated.
