strange MIDI issue help please [solved]

Ok I cant figure this out for the life of me, hoping someone can shed some light. Last night I recorded a songs and all was well. Ive got 2 instrument tracks one with slate drums on and the other with Xpand2 on. For some reason the xpand2 one is triggering the cymbals on slate drums even though all the midi notes are on the xpand track and there is no midi notes on the slate instrument track until later on in the song. It wasn't doing this last night.

Cured it but really strange. I had to duplicate the track, this then gave me greyed out midi. I then deleted the original track duplicated the duplicated track which then gave me blue midi clips. What a pain that was. Thanks JFreak for your help anyway
