Default TL Metro and Click Tracks

Can someone please tell me how to program a good 6/8 click track in Pro Tools 10? TL Metro seems to not understand that the piece is in 6/8. I have changed the session tempo and meter to 6/8 and appropriate tempo. I want to hear 1/8 notes with an accent on 1 and 4?? seems like a simple task, yet can't figure it out.

Thanks for responding. However, I do not want triplets. I want 8th notes in 6/8. I guess I could change session tempo to 2/4 and instantiate triplet click. But seriously? with how advanced pro tools is, is it possible that this is the best solution? if so, bizarre! 6/8 is top five most common time signatures... someone?

OK, figured it out somewhat. you go into event/time operations/change meter. in this "time operations" window, there is an option to change the click value to 1/8 notes. Still can't figure out how to get an accent on 4, but this will suffice. Why this option does not exist in "click and count off options" window, I do not know?

You can adjust click resolution in meter changes too. Make the meter ruler visible, and create a change, or just double-click existing ones to edit them.

I'm not totally sure how "advanced" the click plugin or TL Metro is, but I don't fiddle around with them much. If I need something that I kind find quickly, I record/import/edit my own audio click track on a tick-based track, which will follow tempo changes too.
