Default Is 10.2.4 supported?

In the official documentation it says that Pro Tools 12.7.1 is compatible with macOS Sierra 10.12.2. Does that automatically mean that macOS Sierra 10.12.3 and .4 are not officially supported? Has anyone tried that very combination yet?

Yes, it means they are not supported/tested. No, it doesn't mean they won't work.

Stick with supported or risk it with unsupported, your choice.

12.7.1 HD works great on Sierra 10.12.4 as the changes were smaller security updates and some other minor tweaks so no issues here. nMP 6 Core

It usually means the latest they've tested. Doesn't necessarily mean older versions had a trouble affecting PT.

HOWEVER; and this is a big thing, for example Mountain Lion had worlds of trouble until 10.8.4 which is when Avid blessed the operating system. Compatibility documents say 10.8.5 (the latest) though...

If you don't know the history, it is best to stick with whatever the compatibility documents say. That is how Avid has been testing.

Has anyone tested the new automatic “Night Shift” mode in 10.10.4 with Pro Tools 12.7.1 while it’s running? I believe it uses the GPU to do it, but I’m curious if there are any issues while a session is open.

Sorry but we turn OFF ALL extras and stuff like sleep mode and drive sleep really NEED to be OFF for PT to not crap out one morning. Soo many people say that sleep mode is not an issue until they come here with lost files and other problems that seem to have burried itself into the whole system .. be careful with extra useless add on stuff ..

I'm aware of that. Where did I ever say sleep mode? That has absolutely nothing to do with Night Shift.
