(Feature request?) Mod key for TCE smart tool trim?
Is there a modifier key for changing the smart tool trim to TCE on the fly? F6 is tedious, especially because it deselects the smart tool. You end up needing 2 different shortcuts to switch to TCE and back when using the smart tool. Looking for something that works like how 'command' temporarily switches slip mode to grid.

There is not, but it would be nice - in my case much more useful than the current cmd modifier.

Yes I’ve moaned about this constantly to anyone within literal or metaphorical ear shot. Stupid bloody loop trim, never used it, never will.
