How do I use the Line 6 Pod as an insert effect?

Hi everyone, I can't work out how to use the Pod as an insert effect (or any external device for that matter) with the Mbox. I want to re-amp an acoustic guitar but can't monitor it as it feeds back through the system. What I've done is taken the line out of the Mbox into the input of the Pod, out of the Pod output and back into the Mbox jack input. Is this wrong?

That should work, but you may have to configure it as an insert int he I/O Setup. There should be some documentation in the PTLE reference guide on how to do that.

Make sure you set the acoustic guitars output as the output going to the POD. Then make another tracks input the input coming FROM the PODs output back to the Mbox. Then hit record and play, and the record the track. That should work.
