Why not just upgrade from HD9 and get all three versions for $999

You get HD10/HD11/HD12 and you will have the perpetual license for all of them if you decide to not pay the support plan after one year which is included.

Buying a second hand HD10 with maybe HD11 included will be the same money basically and on top about $100 for transfer of ownership and ilok fees.

Here is a link to the upgrade chart and the upgrade for PT9HD to PT12/11/10 HD is the one I would suggest :

It is the second box on that page for HD9 to HD12 bundle.

You get all three versions of HD 10/11/12
