I hope cloud is optional, because it won't work for me at work

No iLok! Waves was the reason for getting an iLok 2 so I could fit my Mercury+SSL bundle on it. Great, soon my 2 iLok classics and my iLok 2 will be as useless as my Mbox Micro! I am looking forward to AAX though.

It's interesting that their new plug NLS is TDM only... (I haven't verified that). It would be logical to assume the transition to AAX DSP at some point.

Can you elaborate on the cloud/USB stick licenser a bit more?

tdm, also, unlike vcc
besides native
(seems to suck less cycles than vcc)

waves license center will store auths on cloud
to be d/l'd to your "stick" of choice,
and in user definable configs, e.g.,
mastering pack to mastering rm,
post pro tools to dub stage, etc...

plus 1 clic recovery if lost or damaged.

I ran it through Google Translate. Basically he says that you can divide assets on different keys so different computers can run different Waves plugins. Convenient if you need post stuff in one room and tracking stuff in another. Great news for bigger multi-user studios.

he also says AAX but, as you have son clearly indicated, no AAX-DSP....for now.

Now I couldn't translate your post
