Default Keyboard Shortcuts Not Working!

Hi there,
I'm trying to use the shortcut to recall a memory location. For some reason it doesn't seem to work!
I have the Command Focus button pressed.
I'm trying "Period+MemNo.+Period". Whenever i press numbers 1-5 it just changes the zoom settings.

I'm on a macbook Pro- I have read elsewhere online that this just might be one of those things that doesn't work with laptops.

Any help would be much appreciated!

It works only with the number keypad. You have to buy an USB keypad or get an external keyboard.

Thanks- will look into that.

Also, do you know if there's any way to trigger memory locations recall via MIDI Controller.

I'm using backing tracks for live work, and need the most hassle free solution to go between memory locations.

Cheers.

Maybe the 002 or 003 consol have that function. But I don't think it's possible otherwise with midi controls.

Doesn't it work when you keep the 'fn' key pressed on the Macbook Pro while using the period and the U,I,O,J,K,L etc keys for the numbers??

It's an extra key that you have to press but that should emulate the numeric keypad. At least you can recall them while waiting for that USB numeric keypad order

Yeah, you'r right! Nice! Did not know that. So to recall marker 1 will be: fn+period, fn+j, fn+period. To insert a marker is fn+return (opens marker dialog)
To open the transport: fn+cmd+j and so on. Great, thank's!
