Delay going into record and pop when starting

I did my first trial recording with PT12.5 today. Stock AVID plugins plus MH production bundle and SoftTube Summit Grand, Pultec Bundle and FET Comp. Video Engine was on.

Had Softube grand channel on Acoustic guitar (stereo track) and a mono one on Vocals. FX were TL Space with a long plate from the TL library download and one instance of Revibe - large room.

When I hit record there was like a 3 second pause where nothing happened. Then kind of a pop into the reverbs and then record. I undid and hit rec a few more times. Video engine on or off all still had the 3 second delay - but thankfully no more pops. All of 20 minutes of work.

Not enough yet to start a support case but is anyone else seeing this delay?

Are SofTube and Metric Halo Safe at this time?

Is Count Off or Pre Roll enabled? Any time I see a delay in recording I look at those.

Been a while since I did a clean install...

Yes - count off was ON (must default to ON when installing PT)...

I had everything going great in my HP and then I hit record. Pop was probably reverbs all going from me going test test test and not hearing anything because count off mutes record enabled audio tracks while its counting off (why is that a good feature?). Regardless - my bad - not a 12.5 problem.

I think the mods should delete this but who knows maybe it would help someone someday... Either way - delete or not mods - up to you. But it is not a 12.5 problem so please re-name if keeping...
