As long as Avid remains in business. It's got $220M in long term debt and Q1 was just not good, let's see how Q2 goes. They can't keep stumbling around like they are. I would not assume Avid survives the next few years intact.

gaming audio is massive and they've totally missed the boat, but fortunately FMOD is still dangling out there, and luckily its far more user freindly and 'protools' like than wwise. with FMOD and SoundMiner integrated , they would sew up the world of audio.....

When the competition was basically inexistent in post area and the film industry was a huge moneybag. This kind of blindness killed big whales like Nokia.

And Nokia isn’t dead, just made a SMART move selling off the mobile section to Microsoft and made billions so they could streamline a bit!
