Default Multiband Compressor

Can't find a multiband compressor in PT/MP. Just wanted to verify that there isn't one.

Also, I have the VST-to-RTAS adapter, so if anyone knows of a good VST multiband compressor, I'd be interested.

there are a bunch of RTAS multiband comps as well... checkout the plugin page on the digi site... i really only use multiband comp for mastering, so i use the ones in the vintage warmer or the ozone plug..

I'd have to add those two as well....although I use the vintage warmer the most.

If you want some freeware, check out endorphin from digital fish phones, it's quite nice.

L3 multimaximizer... I like that one quite a bit.. even the T-Racks that comes with PTLE has one.

Granted all I have to go on is the description and screen shot on the DD website, but L3 Multimaximizer sure looks like multiband EQ to me. Didn't see anything about compression.

So I downloaded the demo versions of both Ozone and T-RackS and have 10 days to figure out whether I really want to spend that kind of money or not. Haven't gotten to the quality yet. But on the surface Ozone has more gizmos for less money.

Just curious about the LE version of T-RackS. Like the other stuff it must be a lite version. What's missing?

No multi-band compressors included, but Pro Tools M-Powered comes with a couple of free single band RTAS compressors for others reading this thread:
http://www.digidesign.com/compato/xp/ma/sw.cfm

Under the section named "Software Included with Pro Tools M-Powered Software Purchase".

The DigiRack Dynamics II plug-in compressor, and the Bomb Factory BF76 Compressor included in the Free Bomb Factory Plug-In bundle.
