Moving MIDI Notes to a Different Track
Using the MIDI editor, I would like to move a note from one MIDI track to another (e.g. from Tom track to Snare track). Can this be done in the MIDI Editor window? Or, can somebody confirm that the only way to move MIDI data is to move MIDI regions in the edit window (not in the MIDI editor).

In brief, use copy/paste or cut/paste with show/hide in the track list:
