Re: yamaha 4416s compatibility?
Hi, I posted the same topic a while back, Check "anyone using a yamaha 4416 yet" last dated 12-10-98 for the correspondence. The 4260 can be got cheap now (bottom line USA blol.com don't have any in stock anymore), I found it in the UK, macwarehouse.co.uk. Good luck and happy christmas. imi

Re: yamaha 4416s compatibility?
I've had the same problem. I bought a 4416 from APS Tech and it won't work with MLCD. I called them and asked to swap it with a 4260 and they told me it was discontinued. Great. I've had the hardest time trying to find a drive that's on the compatibility list for this thing. I've got the 4416 and I'm going to send it back, but I don't know what to replace it with.

Re: yamaha 4416s compatibility?
I'm hanging with my 4416, I enjoy it too much & until MLCD is supported im gonna stick with adaptec Jam. you should give it a try...its pretty cool! And best thing, its supports the 4416. By the way I got mine from Megahaus for $389. WOW
Good Luck To All! losone |
