Slow Playing Tracks

hi to everyone!

i got a problem with pro tools free 5.0.1. i've installed it successfully and i'm able to start the application (my pc runs under 256MB DDR) but if i try to play the 8-SoundCheck Demo tracks (that can be downloaded for free) the playing stocks on several points and doesn't run fluid.

can somebody helps me ?
