Default Cheap plastic headphone jack and etc

Well i bumped it and stripped the threads. I took the cover off and saw its probably an easy replacement with the plug in to the pcb, BUT !!! I dont just want to haphazardly just throw something in. So I am wondering if anyone knows of a better replacement part.
I am actually impressed by the sound capability in this unit, its pretty tweakable and its pretty user intuitive, i didnt have to really even use a guide to get it started. One issue is when it is on for a while as an external sound card for my mac, streaming videos , it drops out, so im not sure if thats an output setting or a high sierra setting.
AES, SPDIF ??? so to get a full 8 on your simultaneous I/O, what is your go to? And I found its tracking capabilities online but lost them , IIRC 48 tracks max? anyone have that info?
Lastly, Ive read reviews that it doesnt do metal, before i purchased it, then i tweaked it and got metal, 2 percent rule there. Anyway was anyone else put off by the sustain killing gate settings on this in the presets? Is there a reason they are so constrictive to sustain or are those meant as rhythm settings?

Also, whats the best solution for using two monitor setups, I was thinking of cabling splitters until i thought about various electrical factors. I dont think a monitor controller is going to be best since i usually run both at the same time,BUT i can see a use for a controller and switching between pairs.

If audio drops out, is this after the computer has been asleep? It is recommended to disable all sleep and suspend settings.

I disabled sleep, the driver drops in use, as in cuts out when streaming. Ive been rebooting the device and for the most part it works until it doesnt work, then its reboot the system.
