Missing AAX Plugins.. 2024.3 problem.

Opening older sessions in Native mode pt 2024.3 randomly opens a dialog box with "MISSING AAX Plugins : The following plugins were made inactive because they are either missing from the plugins folder or are not a universal binary and requires Pro Tools to be opened with Rosetta" message..

Opening the same session every time gives a different list of plugins.
Btw, all the plugins installed are AAX Silicon Native, and perfectly working with 2023.12.1 in Native mode.

If I switch 2024.3 to Rosetta, the session opens fine.

Quick update, reloading the session the plugin list is different.

Rebooting my Mac Studio M2 Ultra and reloading the same session didn't give any error about Missing AAX Plugins. Very weird.

Found a solution..
Deleted all the plugin .cache files created inside users/shared/pro tools/AAXPluginCache and let ProTools re-scan all your plugins.
No more problems loading older sessions.

Actually the problem is still happening randomly everyday.
I get the message about the missing plugins. I quit Pro tools, and reopen it and 90% of the times the session finds all the plugins and works normally.

Please help!

It does happen often that plugins randomly fail or some missing when opening protools project or you insert s new plugin. You're not really sure which plugin will fail every time. Seems that starting with this version of 2024.3, Protools uses a new mechanism for plugin scanning, as the AAX plugin info file inside the user library's preference is no longer relevant.

I am experiencing the same thing with an Arturia plugin. I have been working with them to try and figure out whats going on. Nothing has worked so far. Ill report back if we discover something.

I am noticing a similar issue intel mac also. Plugins will not load without any warning but will load sometimes when PT is restarted. Also when I delete the AAX plugin cache and load PT, the pluginrunner process will crash several times during the scan process.
