TrentWilliams....

yes we are working on it now as a launch does take some time so if anyone has issue downloading or syncing from MyAvid, please don't automatically post or contact support.... Uploads of this magnitude take a while and then the sync with Link is also a factor. When we announce it officially, that means it is all good to go.

PT-263943 issue still not resolved

I still have to disable plug-in delay on Kontakt to get my Session guitar in sync, if there is a channel with higher plugin latency!

Kickstart2 is okay, Waves Pumper out of sync with conditions mentions above.

Well... on first open, plugin scanner ("pluginrunner") crashed. Repeatedly. It didn't stop Pro Tools from launching (progress!) And I just closed Pro Tools and reopened it again with no error.

Seems like a different version of the old pluginscanner issue that happened if you have "too many" plugins but instead of Pro Tools just blinking-out of existence, Pro Tools continues trying to load and you just get a bunch of reports to send to Apple.
Oh well, at least a few versions of Pro Tools had the scanner fixed.

Not looking forward to putting 2024.3 on the rigs which have thousands of plugins. (This crashing starts after the first few hundred plugins scan ok which is why it's like the old scanner bug.)

I'm glad you can have the free-floating windows for the ARA and Clip Effects but I think Avid MISSED THE POINT that we didn't want the "chin" on the bottom of Edit window. So now we get free-floating windows but still the chin. Shame they just can't put an arrow at the bottom of the Edit window to show/hide the chin like you can make the Clip list hidden/visible or the Universe hidden/visible or the Tracklist/Groups hidden/visible.
Consistency in UI and UX design is poor (3 of the 4 sides can do things the bottom of the window somehow can't )

I had to remove few plugins, where Pro Tools freeze on startup.

I believe all of your plugins are being re-scanned in this version, so make sure all of your plug-in licenses are current, plug-ins are up to date and working before launching. For some, I'm sure it's been a long time since they were last scanned, so you may have some clunkers that you forgot about still in your plugin directory.

Weeps for joy emoji. It works!

Also on the Mac drag and drop from the clip list is working again! Yay! (PT-313812)

Exactly. It was a just terrible UI/UX idea that should never have seen the light of day and should have been entirely removed after all the negative feedback. Does Avid not test UI changes with feedback groups?
