PT11 not initialising audio card
Help!
I'm setting up a new PC with Pro Tools 11.3 and Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 interface. I have what I think are the latest drivers from http://global.focusrite.com/download...Saffire+PRO+24. Saffire MixControl comes up OK and the input responds to the mic. Saffire also appears as selectable in the Pro Tools I/O (e.g. A1) but when I try to record I get a 'Pro Tools could not initialize the Saffire' message. I tried made sure the sample rates were the same prior to loading Pro Tools but to no affect. The original Texas Instruments 1392 (legacy) firewire driver is not present in windows 8.1 and I susspect this might be the cause, however I can't find this driver on the internet and I'm not sure how to instal it if I found it. |

Re: PT11 not initialising audio card
I thought Firewire was IEEE1394?
Have you tried a Google search with the correct nomenclature? |
